Hi, I’m Samantha
Insurance maven. Nonprofit founder. Speaker. Connector.
Whether you're growing an insurance agency, launching a nonprofit, figuring out your brand, or looking for a speaker who's actually lived it — you're in the right place. I've been building things for 25 years. I know how to help you do the same.
Welcome
AS SEEN IN
I didn't start with a plan.
I started with people.
I'm Samantha Tradelius — commercial insurance specialist, founder of the Sparkle Foundation, consultant, author, podcast host, and the person who started teaching an insurance class at 17 when the instructor didn't show up. That moment kind of set the tone.
Over 25 years, I've built agencies, educated tens of thousands of California agents, launched a nonprofit that now serves thousands of single mothers and their children across multiple states, written two books, and built a consulting practice because I got tired of watching talented women underestimate what they'd already created.
I work with people who are serious about building something — in insurance, in philanthropy, in their own brand and voice. If that's you, I'd love to hear what you're working on.
At 23, I started an insurance agency with my dad. I cried at my desk more than once. He told me there's no crying in insurance. He was right — but that experience taught me everything about what it actually takes to grow something from zero.
At 35, I launched a nonprofit with two kids under five. Totally insane. Still one of the most complex, rewarding things I've ever done.
Today, Sparkle Foundation has raised and reinvested over $3.5 million into communities across California and Arizona. My consulting practice has helped insurance agencies scale, nonprofit founders build real infrastructure, and women who are ready to be seen — actually get seen.
I'm not a theorist. Everything I teach, I've lived.
MY PHILOSOPHY
What I believe
I believe the women who are doing the most are often the least likely to own it. I've watched incredibly capable women undersell themselves in rooms where they were the most qualified person — not because they lacked confidence, but because nobody had helped them translate their depth into language others could follow.
That's the work. Not reinventing yourself. Not building a personal brand from scratch. Recognising what's already there — and learning how to stand in it clearly, confidently, and in a way that actually connects.
I care about structure because structure is how care scales. I care about community because I've seen what happens when women are in the right rooms together. And I care about legacy — building things that outlast the moment they were created in.
Four ways. One body of work.
Everything I do connects back to one thing: helping people take what they've built and make it work harder — for them, their clients, and the communities they serve. Whether you come to me through insurance, philanthropy, personal brand, or speaking, you'll find the same foundation: real experience, real strategy, and someone who genuinely wants to see you win.

LISTEN
Tune Into the podcast
Every week my co-host and I sit down with women who are doing extraordinary things in ordinary circumstances — and we give them the mic they deserve. InspiHER'd exists because most women's stories go untold unless they're famous, wealthy, or defined by their hardship. That's not good enough for us. Thirty minutes, every Monday, the good the bad and the real — because your story matters, and so does theirs.
